Woof!
Mick Pritchard's Story
🚴♂️ Three years ago, my wife was starting chemotherapy for breast cancer. Those months were some of the hardest of our lives. Watching Emma go through treatment, with all the uncertainty and exhaustion it brought, was incredibly tough - but today, she is well and I couldn’t be prouder of her.
Now, she’s not only looking after her emotional wellbeing, which is always hard work post cancer diagnosis, but she is also the Chair of House of Hope Scotland, a charity that walks alongside people and families affected by breast cancer. I know firsthand the difference this organisation can make to lives - offering practical help and wellbeing services, emotional support and most of all, hope.
That’s why I’ve taken on Tour de 4. With four tough cycling stages to choose from, the event has been created by Sir Chris Hoy with the aim of raising awareness of secondary cancers. And I'll be also raising funds for The House of Hope Scotland. I've taken on the Red challenge: a 56 mile ride. Every mile I ride is dedicated to those who are going through treatment, those we’ve lost and those who continue to live with the impact of cancer.
Your donation will help provide vital support for people who need it most.
Every pound raised keeps the doors open for families facing cancer.
Together, we can make sure no one walks this road alone.
Please consider sponsoring me on this ride. With your help, we can keep hope alive for people across Scotland.
Donate today and be part of the journey.
Thank you
Mick
